An Eventful month followed by another!

 


    October has been an eventful month for Your words matter to us! Wrapping up the workshop “Tell me a story” operated as a chance for the audience to getsuggestions of writing stories from veteran speakers, who gave an insightful understanding of writing stories and how they are correlated to social issues as wellThe speakers' board consisted of great authors like Maria Amparo Escandon, a NewYork Times best selling author, Tanmay Dubey, a six-time bestselling author and many more. The workshop had gone on three days, with over fifty participants onboard.
    We were delighted to conduct interviews of potential books writers including ArushiMalhotra, who is a sixteen-year-old author, entertaining the audience with her magic with words. Your words matter to us had conducted her interview on the 10thof October, where she shared more about her journey in the field of creativity. On The 23rd of October, we were able to host another interview with Ally Coy, who is passionate writer and reader, making sure that people get to know about the good books out there from her articulate book reviews. Her whimsical stories entertain over twenty-four thousand people, including the Your words matter to us crowd,who had equally enjoyed listening to her words as they do when reading her stories.What an eventful month it has been!
    Well, this is not where we stop, as Your words matter to us has equally festive plans for November, as the journaling event is just around the corner. On the 20th ofNovember 2021, around 9:00 am PST//9:30 pm IST, we have prepared an hour for you to relax and rest, with a pen and paper in your hand all while learning about the various stigma’s connected to mental health and participating in self-help and gratitude activities. Sounds good right? So make sure to mark your calendars and not miss out! Your Words Matter To Us Inception : The Writing and Open Mic Event began in June 2019 and has been continuing since. The bi-monthly booklet started in December 2019 Your Words Matter To Us Who are we: Your words Matter To Us is a student-led program that supports people of all various ages in their professional and personal development. We offer monthly writing, and open mic events, and create a bi-monthly magazine called Words Touch Souls. Goal: We wish to foster a community where people can be their most authentic selves. They will able to shed light on their endeavours, topics of passions, political events and global issues. They will be able to promote themselves and their organizations as well.
